Outside of the blue jacket, I enjoy the performing arts! I’ve been performing since third grade, starting with my elementary school’s after-school music program. Since then, chorus has always been my top choice for electives. I also loved being part of Lake Nona’s after-school theatre program, where I worked on the carpentry crew for two shows and the hair and makeup crew for two others. 

Being part of this organization has changed me for the better in many ways. Through my experiences in FFA, I’ve learned valuable life lessons that I’ll carry with me forever. One of the biggest changes I’ve seen in myself is my ability to manage time effectively. Balancing school, FFA events, and other responsibilities has taught me how to prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay organized. These skills have helped me in school and prepared me for the future. FFA has shown me that my choices and efforts matter. I’ve gained not only agricultural knowledge but also life skills like public speaking, problem-solving, and professionalism. I’m proud of the person I’m becoming—and I owe much of that growth to my time in FFA.
