My name is Adrianna Loper and I will be serving as the 2021-2022 Orange County FFA Vice President!
I'm a senior at West Orange High School, and I've been an FFA member for 7 years - serving as an officer, competing in CDEs, and raising several forms of livestock throughout my membership. My favorite CDE is Forestry, as I've competed in it since sixth grade and it was my first real step within the FFA. I raise ducks and dairy goats currently, but have raised cattle in recent years.
Livestock is one of my favorite components of FFA. I've shown animals since 7th grade, starting with a rabbit, then moving to ducks, then cattle and goats. I've found my passion in showing dairy goats - I currently own four goats and will continue breeding and showing them through ADGA after high school.
I show at State Fair and the Central Florida Fair, as well as sanctioned ADGA shows across the state!
My current SAE program for this year is "Duck-quaponics" I'll be using my poultry project to grow edible foods in water - filtered from their waste.
Some CDEs that I've competed in are Forestry, Meats, and Food Science. CDEs are very important to me, as they reflect my dedication to the FFA!
I've also been an officer for (going on) 5 years - I am currently President of the West Orange FFA Chapter!
Although FFA takes up most of my time, I am also a member of Girl Scouts of America and National Honor Society. I love to spend time with family, friends, and pets.
My dogs, cats, and goats are huge parts of my life, and if I'm not competing within FFA, I'm spending time with them, my friends and family, or I'm reading a book.
